I began couponing early this week, because I had a few coupons expiring on 7/31/13. I did make a few rookie mistakes. For example, forgetting that Walgreens also has separate in-store coupons, forgetting to use my Walgreens reward $5, and forgetting that an in-ad coupon was needed for a deal. Also, at CVS I am realizing that the retail value to get extra bucks rewards is before coupons. Although I made these rookie mistakes I still saved a ton of money. Below is my list of what I bought:

- Opti-free Replenish Twin-Pack
- 6 boxes of bounce sheets
- 2 Herbal Essence Body Washes
- 2 U by Kotex Pads
- 3 Dawn Dish Liquid

- 10 five star notebooks
- 4 Crest Complete Toothpastes

Savings Value: 57%
